Purchasing BalanceWare

To purchase BalanceWare, open the About form and select Support/Key Request. On the Support Ticket form, complete your contact information and make sure the Check to Purchase a Software Key is selected. If you would like to use the text messaging features of BalanceWare be sure to request a Relay Key as well. We will respond with a digital invoice via email and upon payment, your installation of BalanceWare will be activated. We will send an email to you advising of the activation.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Update BalanceWare software with a new release ONLY IF WITHIN THE UPDATE SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD. If you update BalanceWare software outside of the update subscription period the update must be uninstalled and a version within the update period must be re-installed to restore functionality. Version downloads are available at www.balware.com.

BalanceWare Support

Support is offered via telephone, fax and email. We also offer remote services should we agree that an online connection to your database is required for troubleshooting. Support is free for a  12-month period, which starts with your installation date. 

We try to answer all of the support calls but if we are unable to take the call, please leave a message. We return telephone calls immediately. Support hours are 9 AM - 7 PM EST every day of the week. 

Support is free for 12-months after purchasing and for 12-months after a paid update. Support costs are invoiced in increments of $35 per hour with a $35 minimum if not covered by free support.

The trial version of BalanceWare is completely functional for 30-days, with the exception of cloud services. If you would like to try cloud services while using the trial version, please submit a support ticket and we will authorize cloud usage for an agreed upon period. After the trial period has expired, limited functionality is available only. Full support is offered during the trial period. 

Licensing

Licensing is done on a per machine basis. Cloud services, updates and support are included with all active licenses. 

To request a license and arrange payment, please contact us or submit a support ticket requesting a Software License Key. We will need your Software Serial Number, which is on the About form in the Help tab on the ribbon.  You will receive an email with an invoice which can be paid online via PayPal or a credit/debit card. An activation email will be sent after we receive payment.

Updates 

Updates, cloud services, and support are included for one-year. Thereafter, updates, cloud service and support are 80% of the then current price. You can skip several updates and still qualify for the 20% discount.

License Agreement

The full license agreement you are agreeing to by installing this software is below.  If you do not agree with these terms, you must not install the software.

Ownership of the Software

The enclosed software program ("Software") and the accompanying documentation are owned by BalanceWare or its suppliers and are protected by United States copyright laws, by laws of other nations, and by international treaties. You must treat the Software like any other copyrighted material except that you may make copies of the Software solely for backup or archival purpose, and you may transfer the Software to a permanent storage device.

Redistribution Rights

The Software may not be redistributed, in whole or part, in any form without express written permission from BalanceWare. 

Restrictions

Under no circumstances may you attempt to reverse engineer this product. You may not rent or lease the Software, but you may transfer the Software and the accompanying written materials on a permanent basis provided you retain no copies and the recipient agrees to the terms in this Software License. Ownership transfers must be reported to BalanceWare in writing.

This software is provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranty. In connection with the software, BalanceWare, Inc. makes no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, of title, or of non-infringement of third party rights. Use of the software by a user is at the user's risk and is deemed acceptance of these terms. IN NO EVENT WILL BALANCEWARE, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF BALANCEWARE, INC. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANOTHER PARTY.

BalanceWare, Inc. makes no warranty as to the effectiveness of BalanceWare software and is NOT liable for any damages to any user's machine or for any loss of data. BalanceWare, Inc. bears no responsibility to any users of your program(s). In addition, BalanceWare, Inc. is not responsible for any errors in the BalanceWare documentation. Your usage of BalanceWare software means that you agree.

Limited Warranty

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON THE SOFTWARE AND/OR DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO SIXTY (60) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT.  Although BalanceWare has tested this program and reviewed the documentation, BalanceWare makes no warranty or representation, either expressed or implied, with respect to this software, its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.  As a result, this software is licensed "AS-IS", and you are assuming the entire risk as to its quality and performance.

Submitting a support ticket is the best way to expedite your issue. The support ticket automatically includes information we need to service your installation properly. By submitting a support ticket, we won't have to ask you all the preliminaries and, if you add a brief description, we will be better prepared to get to the heart of the matter ! We receive your ticket immediately upon submission and will respond ASAP; usually within minutes. Submit your support ticket from the About form on the Help tab.
