There are two tax preparation reports on the left side of the Income Tax tab:

Income Tax Preparation Detail Report

The tax reconciliation report is also available in the reports group on the Income Tax tab. This report reconciles tax lines to financial statements and is designed to assist in reconciling differences between tax returns and beginning balances.

In addition, the report is also a handy tool for keeping your client's books synchronized with the tax returns. Journal entry references and amounts are annotated for quickly troubleshooting discrepancies.

Income Tax Reconciliation Report

Reports open initially in Report View. Press the space-bar to display the report in Print Preview mode.

All reports can be printed and exported to Rich Text Form (RTF) format, compatible with MS Word and many other word processors. The 5-Year Financial Statement, General Ledger, accounting and reports and the Bank Reconciliation Helper reports can be exported to MS Excel. When a report is in Print Preview mode, see the Print Preview ribbon for additional functionality.
